If you guys remember, i did a post regarding an upcoming review on some products from the NaturalSkinShop here. In case you forgot what they do, here is a quick introduction.
18 Actives Dynamic Eye Pack…
EYE ESSENCE Treats, prevents, diminishes, refreshes and energizes the eye area. Produces a cooling, soothing sensation to ease irritation. Eye essence is a full circle product to keep your eyes looking young and fresh during the day and lets you wake up with brighter, non-puffy appearance.
FAUX FILLER Provides a new alternative that is safe, effective, natural, and cost effective. Traditional injectables like Hyaluronic Acid and Collagen need to be re-injected as frequently as every 8 months with a hefty price tag per “refill”. Faux Filler can be used independently or in conjunction with these facial fillers to prolong their effects.
Alpha Light Essentials…
ALPHA LIGHT EXFOLIATOR combines Glycolic and Lactic acids to help gently sweep away dead skin cells. Exfoliation clears the path for treatment products to hit their target and correct discoloration. This essential daily product also contains color correcting ingredients for maximum effectiveness.
ALPHA LIGHT SERUM works by Stopping the chain reaction of skin discoloration prevents future dark spots and prevents uneven skin tone in the future. Applying the serum after exfoliation allows the serum to penetrate to work deep within the skin layers and reverse the damage. Key active ingredients target the necessary skin cells to diminish discoloration, reduce the level of pigment, and produce a more luminous skin tone.
First lets review the Alpha light essentials.
The package came containing the Skin Bright Serum, a bottle of Skin Bright Exfoliate and some buffing pads for proper application. The instructions were to use this product religiously for one month for optimum results, and so that is what i did. Here is how to use it. Firstly, wash your face with a cleansing gel and pat dry. Apply a few drops of the Skin Bright Exfoliate on a dry buffing pad and gently scrub all over face excluding the eye area. Pay extra attention to problem areas like acne scars, uneven skin and blemishes. Do so for about 2-3 minutes, then rinse off face with cool water and pat dry. Now take some Skin Bright Serum on your finger tips and put it on your face. Keep massaging in circular motions until the serum is completely absorbed. Now put on a gentle moisturizer. Use the Exfoliate only once in 24 hours and the Serum twice in a day.
The Serum and the Exfoliate smelt pretty bad and felt tingly on the skin almost every time i used it. But the results turned out to be worth it. This procedure started showing results after almost two weeks. At first, i stopped breaking out as often , my blemishes started to fade and then my complexion started to even out. Also, i started to notice that my blackheads were getting smaller. At the end of the month, i gave myself an at home facial and got rid of any dead, dry skin that was still left on my face. Voila! a luminous and bright face greeted me in the mirror. I give this product an 8 out of 10.
Now that that’s done with, time to review the 18 Actives Dynamic Eye Pack.
The package included a bottle of Eye Essence and Faux Filler each. In order to use these products, i started off with a clean face and put on some moisturizer. I used a few drops of the Eye Essence Serum and applied it on my eye area, leaving out the lids. The serum was visibly shiny and took a while to somewhat absorb into my skin. I then followed up with a few drops of the Faux Filler on my fingers and gently massaging them onto the crows feet area and patted it in until it was absorbed. I continued this for about three weeks.
I have mixed feelings about this duo. Although the Eye Essence did fade out my dark circles and make my eyes less puffy when i woke up, it did not deliver as much as i had expected. The Faux filler might have worked if i did have crows feet but im just using it as a precaution so i could not tell if it worked or not. Im probably going to use it in my late 30’s or something. The smell was pretty bad for both of the Serums and they kind of took ages to absorb. So i’ll give them a 6 out of 10.
